Aptos is the new default font in the latest version of Office Word, both on Windows and Mac. While there is nothing wrong with it, I feel that Aptos font isn’t easy to read. Every time I start the program and start a new document, I need to change the default font and font size. Change default font settings in Office Word on Windows
Step 1: Open the Word program using search or any other method.
Step 2: Simultaneously press the Ctrl + Shift + F key to open the Font dialog.
Step 3: Here, select your favorite font, font style, font size, and color.
Step 4: Finally, click the Set As Default button. When you see the following dialog box, please select the second option labelled All documents based on the Normal template and then click OK to save the new settings.
