The recently released OS X Lion brings richer multi-touch experience to Mac. The latest Lion offers fluid and realistic gesture responses, including rubber-band scrolling, page and image zoom, and full-screen swiping. Are you a Windows user and want to get similar multi-touch experience in Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 as well?
We know, every notebook and netbook user would love to enhance the capabilities of the TouchPad by adding new gesture support to the TouchPad. Unfortunately, there is not a single working software available to bring multi-touch gestures to Windows.
Do you own a notebook or netbook? Is your notebook equipped with Synaptics touchpad? If your answer is yes for the above two questions then here is a chance to enhance your productivity by expanding your Synaptics TouchPad’s capabilities.
The latest version of Synaptics TouchPad driver with Scrybe Gesture Workflow Technology helps you unleash the power of your TouchPad by adding new gesture controls to the TouchPad.
Once installed, you can edit gestures and also add new custom gestures to the existing gestures list. Synaptics Scribe driver is available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 (x86 and x64).
How to install it:
Step 1: You need to first uninstall the previous version of Synaptic driver from your laptop before installing the Synaptic Scrybe. Reboot the machine.
Step 2: Visit the official Scrybe page (http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers) and download the Scribe driver for your version of Windows. Run the setup and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. Restart Windows.
Step 3: Now, navigate to Mouse Properties and launch Synaptics TouchPad settings to see list of available gestures. To add new gestures and edit existing gestures, simply double-click on Scrybe icon in system tray.
Note: Create a system restore point before installing the Scribe driver as installing a generic driver may result in the loss of OEM customized Synaptics pointing device functionality.
