Upon installing and launching the tool for the first time, it automatically checks for updates and installs, if available. The tool automatically scans and detects the version(s) of Office installed on your PC. You just need to select the version (if you have installed multiple versions) and Office applications by clicking on them. Finally, click the Scan button.
Once the scanning is done, it will list all identified issues with links to pages containing possible fixes. As you can see, the tool also checks if the status of the antivirus program on your PC.
Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool supports both 32 and 64-bit of Office 2013, and Office 2010. This tool also supports Office 2007. The tool requires .NET Framework 4.5 version. So if it’s installed, when you run the installer of Office Configuration Analyzer Tool, it prompts you to install the same.
